Cbeebies star Mr. Bloom and his band will make a special appreance at the launch party of Middlesbrough’s newest green space – Transporter Park!
This fantastic 40 minute show will have everyone singing and dancing to some of Mr Bloom’s most well known tunes. Spaces are strictly limited in the performance area. Admission will be by ticket only and must be pre-booked on eventbrite. Every individual must have a ticket from age 0-120.
(Mr Bloom and his band show starts: 12.30pm; Gates open: 12 noon-sold out)
Following Mr Bloom’s performance, he will then officially open the park at 1.30pm
This performance is just one part of the celebrations taking place at the Transporter Bridge and Park throughout the day. If you do not get a ticket for this 40-minute show it is still well worth coming down for a full day of fun!
BBC Music Day at the Transporter Bridge (on the same day) and Transporter Park Family Fun Day feature a wide variety of interactive projects to get involved in. In the BBC interactive tent learn to read the news or take the Horrible Histories quiz. There will be workshops for planting seeds and making crafts. Enjoy cake and tea from Annie’s Vintage Tea Shop whilst watching great community acts performing on stage.
BBC Music Day at the Transporter Bridge and Transporter Park Family Fun Day are both non-ticketed free events.
BBC Music Day takes place 7am-7pm.
Transporter Park Family Fun Day takes place 11am – 6pm.
Small charges apply for some stalls and activities.
