Here at Teesside School Of Music we offer Studio Recording & Production Lessons in our purpose built teaching studio’s.
£15.00 per half hour
£30.00 per hour
We recommend the earliest starting age for studio recording & production lessons be 8 years old, but have tried younger children in the past. We don’t have an upper age limit so remember you’re never too old to learn!
Lessons are taught by one of our enthusiastic and qualified studio recording & production teachers. Our teachers base the lessons around the student, so if you just want to learn for fun and are not interested in doing any official grade qualifications then that’s ok with us.

I’m an audio engineer with over 15 years of experience in recording, mixing and mastering music professionally for artists spanning a wide range of genres. Over those years I’ve worked for large and smaller production facilities and now I run my own studio Mixed By Raf. Wherever you are in your journey of learning how to produce music I can help you improve your skills.
From setting up your first studio, choosing the right DAW application for you, learning how to run a basic recording session, improve your sound with effects like eq and compression, all the way to advanced mixing and mastering techniques that will get you fully professional results.
All of my lessons are taught with a simple, engaging, practical, hands-on approach, allowing you to lead our sessions based on where you are in your development.

Teesside School Of Music is located in Thornaby which is centrally located for students travelling from Middlesbrough, Ingleby Barwick, Yarm and Stockton.
You must provide at least 48 hours notice to rearrange or cancel a lesson.
No credits or refunds will be issued if the appropriate notice is not given.
To rearrange or cancel a booking you will need to do this through your account.
