Here at Teesside School Of Music we offer Piano and Keyboard Lessons in our purpose built teaching studio’s.
£15.00 per half hour
£30.00 per hour
We recommend the earliest starting age for piano or keyboard lessons be 6 years old, but have tried younger children in the past. We don’t have an upper age limit so remember you’re never too old to learn to play piano or keyboard!
Lessons are taught by one of our enthusiastic and qualified piano teachers. Our piano teachers base the lessons around the student, so if you just want to learn for fun and are not interested in doing any official grade qualifications then that’s ok with us. However if you would like to be taken through your piano grade exams we can do this as well. We teach the ABRSM grade syllabus, which is a recognised qualification.

Teesside School Of Music is located in Thornaby which is centrally located for students travelling from Middlesbrough, Ingleby Barwick, Yarm and Stockton. Some students may not have an instrument yet and would prefer to try a few lessons first before committing to owning their own Piano or Keyboard. This is ok, as we have instruments you can use here at Teesside School Of Music for your Piano lessons.
With the piano being a large instrument a lot of our students have chosen to buy keyboards to practice on at home. What they learn on the piano here at Teesside School Of Music can be applied the same way on their keyboard at home.
You must provide at least 48 hours notice to rearrange or cancel a lesson.
No credits or refunds will be issued if the appropriate notice is not given.
All bookings are dealt with through our booking system.
